ChromaQA is an advanced quality control software used by some of the largest global consumer brands and printers to ensure consistent color across packaging.
Having already produced product testimonials on-site with several customers using Techkon's in-line color measurement devices, I had a familiarity with the dynamics of a pressroom floor, the very low tolerance for error, and the criticality of accurate color when printing 100,000's of units daily. This perspective made it easier to understand the value of the software and how to shape the messaging for customers.
Collaborating closely with the leadership, product, and engineering teams at Techkon, we closely examined the customer perspective and started to build a storyboard for the main launch video. The goal was to create a video that resonated with at a high level with the problems the customers experience, while capturing the product story and features that brought tremendous value and risk mitigation to the world's largest print operations.
Using Figma and Adobe After Effects, I recreated many components of the software's user interface and developed animations that told these stories with an added flair of motion and typography animation to really tie everything together.
With the launch video complete, I designed and developed the landing page for the software. Using compact sections, GIFs, videos, and redesigned screenshots of the UI, the product page took after the launch video –telling the same story throughout compelling imagery.
